DONGGUAN, Dec. 5, 2024 – At the 2024 Dongguan Global Investment Conference, Marc Wachter, CEO of Messer China, was invited to give a speech.

Marc expressed his satisfaction with Messer's investment in Guangdong. He said, “It proves to be a right decision to invest in Dongguan. We highly appreciate the strategic plan of Dongguan as a core city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and an advanced manufacturing center in China, as well as its high-quality infrastructure.”

Messer entered Guangdong in 1996 and was one of the earliest European companies to invest in Guangdong. With more than 20 years' great efforts, today Messer has launched five manufacturers in Guangdong , which has not only contributed to the local economy, but also has demonstrated Messer's purpose of “Gases for Life” in Guangdong market. Messer has established long-term and trustful partnership with local customers of various industries, becoming a market leader of Guangdong gases market.

Messer planned to build two liquid air separation units in Dongguan, the largest liquid ASUs it ever built. The first one was put into operation in April, and the second set is also in preparation.

“With the continuously improved energy efficiency technologies, flexible and responsive customer service, as well as our excellent team, we are confident to create greater value for our customers and the regional economy.” Marc said.

The Dongguan Global Investment Promotion Conference attracted more than 1,000 guests, including representatives of well-known companies, venture capitals, business associations, and consulates general of relevant countries in Guangzhou. Zhang Jinsong, party secretary and director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, Wei Hao, secretary of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee, and Lv Chengjing, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Dongguan, attended the conference.
