Messer showcases the comprehensive electronic gas solutions at SEMICON China 2025

Shanghai, March 27, 2025 — Messer, the world’s largest privately owned specialist in industrial, medical, and specialty gases, showcased its full range of advanced electronic gas solutions at SEMICON China 2025, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Pudong. With a legacy spanning over 120 years, Messer used the event to strengthen ties with industry leaders, highlight its technological capabilities, and reinforce its long-term commitment to China’s fast-evolving semiconductor and electronics sectors.

At the exhibition, Messer presented a comprehensive lineup of electronic gases, including both specialty gases and bulk gases for the fields of semiconductor, flat panel displays, LED, and photovoltaics. With a portfolio of more than 60 high-purity and ultra-high-purity gases, the company supports a wide array of high-precision processes across the semiconductor value chain.

Showcased solutions included DUV laser gas mixtures for lithography, CVD pure gases and custom gas mixtures for film forming, dopant gas mixtures engineered for ultra-tight composition control, and low-GWP etching gases. Messer also highlighted its expertise in rare and high-value gases—including helium, krypton, and xenon—as well as high-purity hydrogen and nitrogen. All solutions are supported by strict quality management and a secure, localized supply infrastructure.

With three state-of-the-art electronic gas production facilities and four specialty gas centers strategically located across China, Messer is well-positioned to serve the customers with reliable supply, rapid response, and customized technical support. The company’s reputation for deep industry expertise, operational flexibility, and a customer orientation has made it the preferred partner for many of China’s leading companies across multiple high-tech sectors.

“SEMICON China is a great opportunity for us to connect directly with our customers and better understand their evolving needs in electronics manufacturing,” said Sean Li, Vice General Manager of Electronics BU of Messer China. “We will continue to focus on delivering reliable, sustainable gas solutions that support our customers’ process optimization and enable innovation.”
